| Peter is CFO and Director of Tax and Planning Services at Beacon Wealth Consulting, LLC.
Prior to the formation of Beacon Wealth Consulting, LLC Peter was Director of Tax Services at Winged Keel Financial Advisors, LLC. He specializes in providing financial, estate and tax counseling for high net worth individuals and has over 25 years of related experience.
Prior to joining Winged Keel in 1999, Peter was Tax Director at Marshall Granger & Company, PC, a medium-sized public accounting firm in Tarrytown, New York serving predominantly individuals and their closely-held businesses. For the two preceding years, Peter was Director of Taxes at Five Mile Group, PC, a small public accounting firm in Darien, Connecticut, serving predominantly high net worth individuals. From 1985 through 1996 Peter was Director of Tax Compliance and Director of Information Systems at Goelet Corporation in New York City, a privately held family corporation. Peter began his career at Price Waterhouse & Company, working as a Senior Tax Accountant in both the New York City and Stamford, Connecticut offices from 1981 to 1985.
Peter received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Ohio University in 1979. Subsequently he attended Pace University where he received his Masters of Science degree in Taxation. He has been a CPA since 1983 and has received the Certificate of Educational Achievement in Personal Financial Planning from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Peter attained the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the AICPA at the end of 2008 after attending the beta case study program in November. Peter is a member of both the Connecticut Society of CPAs and the AICPA.
Peter is also the sole owner and principal of Beacon Tax Consulting, a sole proprietorship providing tax compliance and planning services predominantly to high net worth individual clients.
Peter currently lives with his wife and daughter in Norwalk, Connecticut and is an avid sailor, skier and musician.
